Hi,

Masses of knives out there in all sorts and shapes, all kind of brands and makes...

The three elements that were most important to lure you in the last buy. Why that particular knife and not a similar one?

Bye folks ;-)

Generally, I don't buy knives. I make them. I have plans to buy a Fullco blade in the not so distant future but that is for a collectible. So lets just say the closest on your list of options is "other". It is by the maker.

I am hooked on knives. Everything I say, think, feel or do is filtered through my knife interest first.

Almost all of the knives I've bought in the past were production folders of unique or very traditional, you could say "iconic," style. I don't use these knives so their performance characteristics are secondary to their form. Recently I've been more interested in handmade fixed blades by other makers, so I expect performance to be a key ingredient in their makeup. But I won't test that.

My carry knife is one I made, and I will always try to keep that true. I use my carry knife a lot, every day, so its performance is important. But it looks interesting too. :)

I don't know how that 98% of the population that doesn't carry a knife, gets through the day.
