Why does my Santuko look like someone was using it to strip wire?

No one fessed up. Now I have to sharpen out the damage. A session on the GATCO fixed up most of the damage and got it usable again.

Why does no one else in the family care for tools?
 
Heh, gotta love it. Even better when you walk in and they're sawing away on a ceramic plate or something.
 
I don't think it's always that they don't care... just don't know any better????
 
Sounds like my mom...
She stores her knives in a metal tin all together..no sheath..edges banging together...not in the wood block they came in..the tin sits in front of the empty block. She chops and cuts on ceramic plates and the resin countertop because she is too lazy to reach under the counter and grab on of her many cutting boards from the cupboard.
