Why does this forum only keep 5 pages of threads when others have hundreds?

Just curious as to why this is. I'd like to go back sometimes to check something I read or saw from a a while(several weeks+) back but its never likely to go back that far due to the limit and how many threads are posted each day. I know that really popular threads will last a while or jump back in the line up if they get a lot of action but unpopular ones seem to be bumped off in a few weeks:confused: Well I just curious for the most part if anybody has an answer:)

It's not the norm for here, there's a glitch in the matrix. Service and support question?

I actually got PM'ed a solution. I just had to go to the bottom of the page and click the "show threads from the..." and I picked a longer period of time cuz mine was set at a month. Thanks for the answer Jcav:thumbup:

Gotcha. Weird, never had to do that before. I tend to mod forums client side and never bother to look at stuff like that. In fact I often use just a plain text browser with all the crap that's irrelevant to me stripped out. So I just put it down to forum curios, like when it strips all the paragraphs from my posts or any posts I quote.

Sheesh, I thought the enter key on your keyboard was broke. What the heck are you browsing with -- an old rotary dial phone? It ain't suppose to do that! Please post in Tech Support and get the problem solved, whatever it is. It would be nice if your posts were readable again....
