reminds me of that new Zero tolerance 0777..... reminds of it quite a lot actually
Only estetic difference I see at first glance and from memory is the blade is not damascus/steel and the screws are the ones mictrotech uses when they plan on selling a lot of knives to aliens.

It's been discussed in a few threads already. It's a blatant rip off from the ZT 0777. Microtech admitted to this. The whole ordeal caused ZT/Kershaw to rethink how/when they unveil designs.

Wowwwwww good job there Microtech. Wasn't ever a big fan of the company because of their notoriously poor attitude, but this takes the cake.

Posted this in the thread about the "Microtech Matrix" (aka ZT 0777 clone) in the Kershaw/ZT subforum, but figured it's just as relevant here:
Interesting, looks like the dealer who had listed the Matrix yesterday has taken it off their site. I didn't see it browsing the site and when I tried the link that I had saved, it just redirected me to the main page of the dealer's site.
Here's hoping the reason for its disappearance is that the dealer did the right thing and refused to stock it as soon as they found out that it was a blatantly stolen design. :thumbup:

I'm going to climb out on a limb here and theorize that Kershaw/Zero Tolerance has licensed the design from Tony Marfione. We'll have to wait and see how this all plays out, but I wanted to get my suspicions down in writing.

HAH. Thanks for the laugh. I know you replied afterwards to disregard, but I still laughed when I read your first reply.
And for those that don't know, when it comes to the ZT0777 KAI/ZT didn't license anything to anyone, certainly not Marfione.
