Mine came up in the rotation order so I'm carrying it this week.

I like the sculptured scales of this one, and the blade shape. I'm not a deep clip fan but this one combined with the rest of the styling almost make this a "modern gentleman's knife". The blade is a little thinner than some of my other folders of the same length but that is more fitting with its elegance, and makes the knife a bit lighter.

I think it's one of the classier BM current offerings for sure. If I wasnt so apposed to a liner and a huge fan of the axis there's a good chane it would be my edc, plus the price is hard to beat. Brad 

I carried mine daily for many years and the only thing I don't like about it is the relatively-flimsy liner lock. It is a truly beautiful knife and definitely the lightest knife I own of this size, but nowhere near as sturdy as my other BMs or even my frame-locks from other companies. The reason I did was that it wasn't as obvious as any of my other knives with the deep carry clip. If you didn't know it was a knife you might easily mistake it for a clip on a nicer pen.

I love mine - it was a gift from my lovely wife, Maggie; she spent almost an hour at the local gun shop looking at all the different knives and she picked this one out for me.

A great choice!

I don't find the liner to be flimsy at all, what are you going to use a knife for that will break or bend this lockbar? Certainly not any cutting chores, at least not in my experience!

It has this nice back spacer with the pointed end for nut-cracking duties -

It's a heck of a slicer, and it works great on apples and other foods that don't take well to an extra thick blade -

And it carries very nicely - you don't know it is there until you need it.

I don't expect to break or bend it, it's definitely sturdier than that, but I have knocked the liner lock off accidentally before. Even frame locks are better, but couldn't be done with this nice design. The liner lock also pushes the blade to the side when closed unless it is tightened to the point that the assisted opening won't work.

This is, by far, the least-Benchmade-feeling Benchmade I own. I still love it, though. It's one of those knives that I think will age well and I imagine a descendent in the distant future will enjoy it as much as I do.
