After you buy one,you want to buy more. I have been carrying a small classic, for about a year and it has cut everything coming and going, great knife. Know I got this wild idea, that I need a large unique grapic. It is know on the way. Cannot wait. Know I am thinking about a large website. Has a man gone crazy? I do not have much money. Do any of you do thinks like this? I have even sold all of my other knives. I think the sebenza is the best knife money can buy.

Nothing wrong with you Razor (besides the fact that you know quality when you see it!!!)

I started with a ShadowIII a couple of months ago and added a large regular Sebbie and a box elder Mnandi by now.
And I'm thinkin' I really,really need a small classic.

So don't worry......,we all get a bit mental at one stage in our lives!!!

There is nothing wrong with that Razor!! I agree that it the BEST knife out there!!! I always want another Sebbie; a night sky one, a dog paws one, I NEED a small Sebbie, I have to have a micarta inlay Sebbie...... Alll I can say is that I understand. We all do!!

Don't feel bad, I've spent about $3,000.00 in the last couple months on Sebenzas. I've streched a couple credit cards but to me it's worth it, I consider them investments. I got a decent raise and I've been working a lot of overtime so the expense is not an issue. I'm even thinking of increasing my expeniditures. Yep a real sickness it is.

You all make me feel alot better. What about fix blades? Want to save for a mtn.II for Christmas!

Yup you buy one you want 4 or 5 more, and then the fixed blades come in and you want more of those. Thats why I think people are afraid to buy the sebenza, not because of how much one will cost, but how much the other's that will follow will cost.

You guys are nuts, I want just one!!!!. I'll be in the process of selling off a few items on ebay to fund my first Sebenza. Any recommendations on which one to get if you could only have one?? Thank,

Ketum3

For me, the fixed blades came first, and they’re not quite as addictive.

Because I can only carry a fixed blade around the farm, or when hiking, I can’t find any justification for having more than the three CRK fixed blades I have …

but a Mountaineer II would be very nice.

Ketum 3 I'm right there with you...just finished selling enough stuff on ebay to purchase my first sebenza, small with micarta inlay, I can't wait to get it...hmmm, now I'm thinking I really need a large regular and I already wanted a fixed blade before that, and a mnandi, and a.................I see the problem.

It's a tough thing, knife passion, my doctor says I need more iron/steel in my blood ;) so I call it the Steel Virus and you can easily have a relapse now and again :) I've owned a lot of Sebenza's in my time, not nearly as many as others, like St James for instance, but Iv'e sold or traded off all of them and just recently picked up nice small wood inlay Classic Sebenza with BG42 blade and ebony inlays, very nice !

I also had a thing for William Henry knives, especially the Lancet T10 models but alas, these are also now moved on to other homes :(

So, best of luck in your new found passion! and Merry Christmas to all this coming weekend!

Sebenza is like a good old friend... she'll never let you down. NEVER. And that's why I love her so much...

Absolutely!! PiterM: You said it perfectly!!

I was all set, about halfway to a deal, to trade my small blackwood Sebenza (since I have the large and Mnandi)... then I took it out to clean it... and carry it just once more... needless to say I still have it...

Not as keen on the one piece handles; so I just got a Neil Roberts... uh-oh... it's starting again...
