Why I love my Sebenza?

Because Sebenza is made for using. I've EDC'd mine for about one and a half years now - everyday. I can't live without it. Absolutely the ultimate folder for me.

Why do I love it some much? Because it's a 5 minute job to take it a part, clean it, oil it and put it together.


Grab your self a cup of strong hot coffee, gun oil, and some paper towels.

Open one screw and the blade is out.

Open two more screws and the whole knife is a part.

Wipe clean all the parts, add few drops of Guntek or similar oil and screw it back together. Open it up, flick it once or twice and tighten the screws gently. Smoothest opening folder there is!

Spend 10 minutes on the Spyderco Sharpmaker and that thing is wickedly sharp again!

Could not agree more with each post in this thread.

It's very satisfying when you've just spent a pleasant 15 or 20 minutes just touching up the edge then pulling apart and cleaning everything and once assembled the blade just glides out into the locked position.

I love my Sebbie too :)
