Why I love this place

So Im sitting here catching up on the forums, as some of you saw son #3 is in the hospital with pneumonia. I spent most of the day there but am home now with the older ones. As Im reading a giveaway thread it dawns on me that Im sitting on my patio with a nice fire having a good beer and catching up on what my friends are doing. This is a special place a lot of you I have met in person and some we just know each other on here but I feel lucky to belong to a group like this. People that actually care that my kid is sick, and can appreciate weird folks like me who sit on the patio and burn stuff. This photo and thread were completely unstaged even the Becker content. Thanks guys and gals for making a place that's fun to hang out.

I know what you mean Psy. These folks are amazing and I learn so much from them. For example, I got to meet Gus at this last gathering and found out I could speak Canadian. I had no idea.

I am sorry to hear about you son. My daughter had pneumonia once and I have had it twice and it is not pleasant to deal with on either end. It is nice to be able to post here and express yourself as it can be cathartic and I am sure everyone here wishes you and your family all the best. I hope your son has a speedy recovery and is able to enjoy the outdoors with you again soon.

trade speaks Canadian by saying "eh?" after every sentence. He speaks Spanish by putting -o after every word. Amazingly, everyone understands him, probably because of his excellent body language.
