why I stink

Sometimes I make really bad decisions.

I had misplaced my edc a Benchmade 707. After two days looking, I grabbed a small knife I own that has no clip, It was a Chris Crawford, and I really loved it and babied it. I said to myself, don't lose this one, as I usually wear shorts, and well,,,you guessed it,

I am dumb, dumb, dumb.

Gone lost, bye bye. While looking I found my 707 under my seat in my car, but my custom is long gone. I am really bummed as I knew it would happened and didn't listen to my gut. I don't have alot of cash, so this one won't be replaced for awhile. Was a great little knife,hope who ever finds it, enjoys it, I really do, as it would be a waste if is lost somewhere never to be used.

I know my post is pointless, but I felt like venting, as my wife doesn't feel my pain.

"Suck it up, get over it and move on!" That was my father's advice when I was bummed out as a child, and it has served me pretty well for over 60 years!:thumbup:

I own a piece of clothing that if I wear it, It will misplace my pocket knives.It is a columbia photographers vest I used to wear in the summer to hide my firearm,cuffs,kenwood/motorola radio,Motorola minitor,flashlight blah bliggity blah.Something about that vest,it would always catch the bottom of the pocket clip and blammo,if I didnt hear the knife fall,it was gone.I EDC'ed a benchmade mini reflex auto for plus 13 years though.still have it. I have lost four spydercos,one emerson,one microtech mini socom and a CRKT. Still feel bad? shoot me.
 
I have found that a missing knife (especially clipless) tends to have a very high probability of slipping into my couch cushions when relaxing. Perhaps you may get lucky?

I just agreed with him. Somebody swears at me, and calls ME a name like that "ace" did, and I get the warning. Kinda backwards ......
I don't think it's nice to call people names, this mod should warn him also.
We'll see...

The Dale Carnegie Institute offers a course on "How to win friends and influence people." It's a very good course. You should take it sometime.
 
I lost a little Kershaw lockback a long time ago but that was before I became a die hard knife knut. Now days the only ones that get "lost" are those I trade off or sale. For some I get pangs of regret for letting them get away and it feels like a lost knife. My own fault, of course. But still, my mind says "dumb, dumb, dumb".
 
Clipless knife = Check your car real good; I've found most of my lost knives there.:thumbup: Don't worry, The Knife God forgives.....ehhh...most of the time.:D
 
Tim- It's in your couch cushion. Swear to god dude. If you find my good zippo in there, could you mail it to me?
 
Leave an envelope filled with $50.00 in unmarked $2.00 bills in the mailbox tonight and it will be back in the morning. Call the po po and we'll sharpen it with a file! ...heh heh heh
