Hey guys, im working on a new article that I hope will better explain stabilizing, what it does do and what it does not do along with some things to consider.
In the mean time, i wanted to just mention why i love the knife making supply community and today, K&G. If you dont know, K&G is the best wood stabilizing company period. No real competition. Every block of stabilized wood I have ever sold was stabilized by them because I hope to sell the best product and they provide the best service.
But its also customer service. As a lot of you know Im a college student and only process wood during my breaks, mainly summer and winter break. I mailed them a box containing a mix of wet and dry wood, but realized after I sent it if they waited till the whole batch was dry, I would not be able to get the wood back when i was still able to clean it up. After a quick call to them, they said they could separate my order, stabilize the dry now and the wet later. That is the type of high quality customer service i aspire to, and thats why i use K&G.
