SHINE IT IN THERE EYES????? Today I had to go to the local courthouse to take care of something and when i went into the metal detector i Asked for a claim ticket and a envelope to put my MT LCC and surefire E2 and my kneckknife in and when i was puting my belongings in the claim envelope he sees my E2 and asks about it. I obligingly hand it to him so he could check it out and whats the first thing he does? PUT THE LENS ABOUT 4 INCHES FROM HIS EYE AND BEFORE I COULD OPEN MY MOUTH TO SAY DON'T HE TURNS IT ON Stupid fool couldn't see anything but spots
i had just put in fresh batteries this morning too. why do people to this its on the same level with forcefully flicking open folding knves especialy high end and customs. or dare i say throwing knives into objects to see if they will stick into it. why do people do these things??? is it genetics, too much algie in the gene pool? sorry if i sound like an a$$hole but i gotta vent. this seems to happen alot. not to long ago a guy at work asked to see my Microtech LCC after i got done anodizing the liners bluish purple and he proceded to forcfully flick it open and when he say me cringe he said "relax man i'm good with knives watch this " and he threw my knife into the corkboard on the wall. Yeah it stuck real good but his dumb a$$ forgot there was a concrete wall behind the 1/4 inch thick cork board. thanks to him i spent several hours after work putting a point back on my baby and redoing most of the mirror polish i had put on it less than a month before. on top of that when it fell out of the corkboard and hit the floor it put a small chip in the mother of pearl handle that i put on. that took another couple of hours to fix. can we please start handing these people loaded handguns and hope they have simaler evaluation techniques(sp) sorry for the rant just had to get that off my chest
