that so many people talk about "Bushcraft Knives",() and "Bushcrafting", but nobody likes the Sauk Trail? To my untrained eye, it looks like a perfect choice!

Sauk Trail

8 1/2" overall
4 1/4" blade
1/8" thick O1 steel with textured flats
Contoured handle

Shoot. That's a damn fine knife!
Resembles my Tool a lot, and I use the heck out of that knife

How about this one?

Jeff

I've sold a bunch of the Michigan Trail knives (just had another order recently, but it was cancelled), but I've only sold two Sauk Trails. Makes me think I can't design worth a damn!

Yes you can. I have used the heck out of many of your designs. They are effective tools.

I think the Sauk Trail is a great design. That was going to be my next purchase before I saw the Personal Camp. I still want one.
The Michigan Trail's shape was the inspiration for the Bluegill.

I think all it needs is you to keep showing pictures of it so it sticks in people's minds. :)

See a "Bushcraft Knife" thread in any sub-forum?
Post a picture of your knife.

The design looks like it should fit the niche just fine...it just needs publicity.

Heck, I didn't know about it until this thread.

I am the owner of one of the sauk trails and I admit I have not posted any pictures of it. I will start posting pictures now though to help get some interest in it.

It's actually a really great knife and the ergos and balance on it are great.

From what I have seen they either go with a scrap of metal they grind and wrap cord on or they pic a semi custom production knife with some ones badge or organization on it and pay A LOT more than you charge.

It is very sleek knife...maybe it needs roughed up or something...IDK...I get some good ideas of Bushcraft sites, but it is like that new show "ALONE" ... what a bunch of pu$$ies...I have to live this shit and they do it as a hobby.
