Why is Karda locking down my thread for minor reasons but not others?

So I post some knives for sale in the (For sale by Individual (Production) Forum). Granted there was a custom in there and a Busse. But Karda swoops in and locks my thread down and leaves these perfectly in tact...

I ask him why he has singled mine out and he basically tells me to mind my business. Months ago Esav got on to me for posting multiple threads... I was just trying to consolidate all my knife sales into one thread. But then get told I need to post one in Custom, one in production, and one in Busse... and Busse is considered Production. I don't get it. Why the inconsistent treatment? I'm not arguing that some of my knives didn't belong. Fine... But I see plenty of people posting and selling Busse, Customs, and Gadgets and Gear in Individual (Production) all the time when it's lumped in with other fitting items.

Infi-Del, we know there are a lot of rules. Some of them may even seem to conflict. Let me explain the few you asked about.

When there is a specialized forum like Busse and kin for sale, Busse belongs there. Of course it is logically appropriate in some other forum like production knives, but should go in the most specific. Spark made these forums like Busse, Buck, and Canadian, and customs because people insisted it would be easier to move the many knives in these categories separate from the other productions.

By putting them all in production you crowd only-production posts and lose the value of targeted marketing for yourself.

What about merging all threads for the day? That rule is for all threads in one subforum. One Busse, one custom, one production, one trade are fine. The rule restricts twoo separate Busse threads or threee separate production threads posted on the same date.

Why you and not the other violations? We do not and should not have so many moderators that we scan every post in every thread in every forum every day. I was in the hospital all last week. Other moderators were at Blade. Errors slip past us, we go for what we do see and what gets reported by Report Post. And yes, mods can get irritable, especially when we see simple rules violated so constantly. I overreact sometimes.

Roll with the punches, learn from mistakes, a soft answer turneth away wrath (sorry! ) and realize we do this to make the forums run more smoooothly. We are volunteers, Spark chose us for our willingness to step in, to get involved. Diplomacy takes a little longer to learn.

I never told you to mind your own business. What i did tell you was to worry about yourself and let the mods worry about the others.
You were threatened with the infractions when you started with the name calling.

I'm not going to get into with you because if anyone dares to question you... you start making threats of infractions. So whatever.

I wanted to know why I was singled out. You could have just said my post was reported and that try as you may you can't catch them all. I would have said sorry... and thank you. Esav is diplomatic as always. You told me not to be surprised by the answers I got in this forum... I'm not. Esav was very helpful and friendly. Exactly what I expected. Like I said, I'm not questioning that I was in error. I just wanted know why the inconsistent treatment, and I got that answer here.
