Why is my 705 Axis making a clicking sound??.....

it only does it when closed, never when open....still a solid lock up with no blade play.
But when closed, it makes a clicking sound when turned from side to side...the springs look good, i'm not sure what's going on here?!?!

You might want to check your stop pin. There was a thread a long time ago on the REKAT forum about some Carnivores that had their stop pins cut a little short and would rattle if you shake the closed knife. When the knife was open, the sound wasn't there.

it's most likely your stop pin.
the stop pin on my 710BT is short (actually short enough that you can tell it's too short) and it makes that sound when i shake it.
i don't mind though, i don't think it's too much of a defect, the blade lock up is tight so i don't mind.
hey i got my Microtech LCC today! woohoo!
stonewash serrated blade.
the edge is ground very very thin.
i find it odd, wonder how it'll be when i put it to work.
i don't like the serrations, anyone else not like them after getting the knife?

Hi Kelt, how you been?
Are you sure you're not just shaking your head when you're checking the knife?

it seems to be the stop pin; i guess it won't affect the lock-up...maybe i can use this as an excuse to buy another nice little folder!! Thanks Guys!
