Why is my Police different?

I have a Spyderco Police model with full SE, G10 scales. I've never seen another with a blade like it. Most Police models have a thick blade profile with a false edge on top. Mine is thin throughout just like a very large Endura. I don't have a pic as the knife is back at Spyderco now being serviced. Anyone else have one like this?

Perhaps it is the flat-ground G-10 Police?

The G-10 Police was made in hollow-grind (the traditional Police blade) and a flat-grind that is more like the Calypso and Military.

Was it a limited run in that blade style? I've never seen another Police with a blade like mine. Maybe just not as popular?

Actually, most G10 Police models were made with the flat gound blade,
these also have a single steel liner under the clip side slab.

Earlier models had the standard profile blade with swedge and these usually have no liner at all.
Both G10 variants are great!
