All body and pivot screws are tight. Its off slightly to the show side. So looking at it it is to the right

Did this come new like this or did you take it apart and put it back together and ended up like that?

Bought here and was told it was like this. No clue, didn't ask about that. I tried lossening everthing then twisting the scales in the proper direction while tightening it up. Tried putting a plastic spacer between the scale and blade holding it over. Nothing seems to work.

Swaping the pivot over to the other direction? I'm stumped. It is a Todd Begg design but no part of the logo says steelcraft.

If it is slightly off centre and not rubbing the scales then it is probably fine and not worth worrying about. It just happens sometimes that knives are off centre. Just because you do the screw tightening tricks doesn’t always mean it will fix

They might just put another blade in it to see if it fixes what ever is blade related.

Hard to say... take a picture of the knife would probably also be helpful. Also, like others on high(er) end knives I recommend calling the manufactures first before you do anything.

In my earlier days that typically involved an O-4 or higher and was rarely, if ever, good. :D

lol. Does "field grade" mean "Well, since you are actually using this in the field, you shouldn't really care that it's 'slightly off'."?

I mean, it's not "presentation grade" or "museum grade" or even "custom grade."

I don't know...but it kinda sounds like that.

Duely Noted Sir!
But Yea I have a second one and it is nicely centered.
