Why is S30V Missing from Crucible Steel's Website??

I'm contemplating buying a Kershaw/Onion BOA folder that has an S90V/440C blade. In researching whether better to buy S30V or S90V I noticed that on Crucible's own website S30V is nowhere to be found! They have separate pages with details about many of their steels, including S60V, S90V, M2 and 154CM, but conspicuous by its absence is S30V. What's up with that??

I neglected to include the link and a quote:

http://www.crucibleservice.com/eselector/splashintro.html
(I tried all the tabs and did not find S30V)

"Crucible, CPM, Cru-Clad, CSM, 1V, 3V, 9V, 10V, 15V, 420V, 440V, S90V, S60V, Rex, Rex 20, Rex 45, Rex 54, Rex 76, Rex 121, Airkool, Airdi, Cru-Wear, Ketos, Halgraph, LaBelle, Maxel, Nu-Die, Readi-Blank, and Tool Steel Pros are trademarks or service marks of Crucible Materials Corporation."

perpster, I can't explain the Crucible site (although I know S30V is still available), but will correct you on the Boa, the steel used was S60V(CPM440V) and is now S30V. We have not used S90V to date.

Thanks for the correction and info Thomas. I am wondering why the Boa is no longer made with S60V, and is now S30V. Can you enlighten me/us? Thank you!

perp, we have always used aluminum scales on the Boa.

The reason we changed to S30V steel on the Boa, is that Crucible is no longer offering S60V.
