My avatar matches my user name. It is an actual X-ray with a guy with a 6 inch knife in his skull. The poor guy was in his 60's. He somehow fell in his kitchen. The knife went into his skull and the handle broke off. He spent the days doing his normal everyday stuff with this knife in his head.
Here's a quote: He added: "I didn't even guess what had happened when the next day I wanted to cut a piece of bread but couldn't find the kitchen knife. Despite carefully searching the room I could only find the handle. But I forgot about it as my headaches got worse over the next few days, and I decided to go to a hospital." That was a good call, Leo.
He eventually went to the ER because of his persistant headache. No joke. That is pretty much how he expressed it.
The knife didn't hit any major arteries. Only his brain. They removed it and he was out of the hospital within a few days for just observation. He presently has some memory loss and some loss of motor function.
Great story and a lucky man. Now he graces every one of my posts.
