Why is the Bedlam box so big...?

Just wondering why the Bedlam requires such a huge box, all the other Benchmade's have regular sized boxes aside from the the gold class. What makes it so special aside from its crazy serial killer looks?

Good question, I got an 8600 today and it's a fixed blade style box.

You're not taking into account all the intangible "badass" that needs to fit in the box along with the knife itself.

I really don't understand it. The contego is pretty close in size and it comes in a normal size box.

The weight and shape of the Adamas with pouch has left the original box in pretty rough shape. I know mine looks worse for wear. Maybe one of these larger boxes would work out.
