Why is the SAR4 limited offering vs. the HG55 regular offering?

The HG55 is not a overrun, the model that is being offered is the Combat Grade model.

This way they can offer more than 1 blade at a time, yet have control over the production of one of them. One color of G10/micarta at a a time. Bang out 50-60 of a color-set and sell em.
Plus the cost of the SAR4LE is higher. The "buzz" helps sell em and earn Jerry an extra $80 per knife.
I got no problem with that. I'm mostly immune to "buzz" now. I haven't bit on any other SAR4's yet. I even purchased a non-Busse-kin knife yesterday. GASP!

I have no regrets buying the SAR4LE although it is quite heavy considering the blade length due to the long handle, so its usability is questionable for me. Buzz or not, I don't think I'll replace my other small/medium fixed users such as my Fällkniven S1 and Fehrman LC. As a matter of fact, I think I'll order another LC (satin one) in spite of the SAR4 with tan/black G-10 being offered now.
