As the name of this thread implies, the Strider folders are listed as having a total length of 8.5", whereas the Strider/Bucks (the large models) are listed with a total length of 10.25". What, may I ask, is the purpose of the extra 1.75" on the Strider/Buck? By the by, I got my information from the Strider website. I'm just interested to know. Thank You, very much!

Why is the Strider/Buck longer than a Strider???

The Strider AR and Gb are not 8.5" long, like it says on a few websites. I have my GB in my hand right now. it measures almost exactly 24 cm long, or 9 1/2 inches. I do not believe the Buck/Stider measures more than this, however I am not sure about that. But, the Strider AR and GB have been mistakenly pegged as 8.5" long ina few websites.
