Why is the thread titled “ expensive knives that look cheap” (paraphrase) locked?

It’s an interesting thread and no one was being rude or out of line, no bashing or name calling, nothing political or offensive, why is it locked?

Usually if a mod closes a thread they will explain why. In this case maybe the OP closed it themselves?

Yeah, I’m not sure if it was the OP, but I don’t understand why anyone would close an active and engaging thread.
There are only so many things to talk about and many threads get little to no traffic, I hate to see one that was interesting me closed with no reason stated.
