Why is there no Case brand subforum?

They do not need one
They are too good for us
They are not good enough for us
They cannot afford to have a moderator
etc. :)

As mentioned, form what I recall, BF supplies the sub-forum, but they need to supply a moderator for it. I assume Facebook etc. is more beneficial to sales these days, compared to Forums.

I think they sell so many knives that they don't feel the need. They don't respond on Instagram, so I think they don't much care about the online community. I live in California and I rarely see their product in stores here. Heck, the only way I learned about them was because I used to read Blade magazine. They will be here when they can't sell commemorative collections or celebrity endorsed knives anymore.

I believe they already have a dedicated Case Knife forum that is part of their Collectors Club. Just my guess, but I would think that is why they don't sponsor one here. There is plenty of Case Knife posting here already, I'm both a vintage Case and a current Case owner and fan - the Traditional Sub-Forum here at Blade Forums fills the need (IMO). OH

Maybe they don’t wanna talk about their knives.

Case operates their own forum site for members of the Case Collectors Club (CCC), i.e., dedicated enthusiasts of the brand. Memberships in CCC are paid memberships only. I'd imagine they likely don't want to sponsor or moderate another forum site elsewhere - especially where some might be inclined to bash the brand, as can happen here at times.

FWIW, I'm a member of CCC. Signed up on a whim about 25+ years ago, for a lifetime membership when it wasn't too expensive to do so. Still get mailings from them. I haven't spent a lot of time on their forum though. I have occasionally found some good tidbits over there, about their steel, etc. But you really have to dig for it. In terms of fully open dialog about their products, I tend to believe a neutral site like BF is likely a better place to look for the big picture. And other sites like AAPK also have a lot of good content, in terms of patterns and history, etc.

The potential fault of a dedicated forum is that it may lack objectivity. You can get a narrow theme, and critique might be unwelcome or looked upon as 'bad manners' this can be fertile soil for both Fanboyism and a fawning cult of moderator where a small clique start to feel they represent all that there is about a marque or pattern. Once neutrality is lost, binary thinking will take over with predictable results....

I like CASE knives and carry them a lot, I respect the open way they are discussed here which generates interest and enquiry. CASE aint need no stinkin' dedicated forum ;)

The Case knife forum, of which I am a member, is not that incredibly active, especially their FS section.
That's what I've noticed too. I check in very infrequently there and still don't often see a lot of new activity in the subtopics that interest me. That's a big part of the reason I don't look there often anyway - it doesn't stay active enough to hold my interest.

Contrast that to BF. I'm looking in here literally every day, beginning with my first few sips of morning coffee - it's part of my daily morning ritual. And I always find new stimulus for my interest in this hobby. I'm always looking to learn something new - and I'm seldom disappointed.
