Why is there not a sharpening forum here?

This comes up every so often. The usual answer from the admins is that theres nothing new in sharpening, and every thread would be "Install Sharpmaker, Problem Solved."
 
Good point. But then almost all the treads in that section will be stickies and the all knowing bastids may not go there just to help give hints/tips.
 
There's a sharpening forum at KF that gets a few new threads a week, it's worth checking out if you have any questions.
 
It would be nice if all the sharpening discussions could be concentrated into their own forum. This way you could easily find an array of sharpening topics without having to search through this forum.

There are many sharpening threads started in this forum every week. Many people start topics about advanced sharpening techniques like stropped, etc.
