Hello all, hope everything and everyone has been well in Beckerland over the last few weeks, I haven't been able to get on the forum for a while due to my personal life taking over everything. Not sure If I've mentioned it to you guys but my partner is not from Australia like myself, she is from Indonesia and we have spent the last year working on and filing the tremendous amount of paperwork with the Australian Embassy, I literally sent over 3 kilograms worth of paperwork and photos to her over in Indonesia.
After a long, stressful and frustrating time, and a few mishaps that were sorted out, a few weeks ago we got the news that her visa had been granted, much to our great relief. So the last few weeks have been spent sorting out everything that needs to be done, working out flights, holiday time with work, and all the other things that had to be done. So in 2 weeks, I jet off over to Indonesia to spend a week with her (and so she can spend a bit more time with her family and friends) and then we both head back to Australia to begin our lives together.
So that's why I haven't been around
Just throwing out a thanks to you all for keeping me sane during some stressful times, you've all helped a lot!
