... because I got notified that Millit was going to drop a batch of Torrents at 1 p.m. my time, so I popped on to look, and I was sorely tempted to buy one.

But then I left my desk at work to scan a signed document into a .pdf, and by the time I got back to my desk about six minutes later, they were all gone!

Whew! Saved $375 there. :eek: These limited runs really help the old self-control... just gotta prolong the agonizing by about ten minutes, and then the problem gets solved for you!
 
The downside is that you might end up buying two when the model really clicks with you.

Like, am I ever really going to use my 4V Manix enough to justify having a backup? Almost definitely not. But, here I am, strongly considering it.

This is true. That's why I have two Darn Daos and have three Caswell morphing karambits incoming.

I agree especially on a knife you have a craving for. Happens frequently with GEC slip joints for me. Most of the time I resist. I also refuse to do the Black Friday store sales.... stand in line (some camp out) for a 4:00 AM opening. It is just not for me.

The best is very personal in terms of meaning. We just do the best we can I guess.
 
Batched, Drops, Sprints and all that limited stuff is certainly good to keep impulse buys down.
 
Never cared about sprint runs, you know damn well they're gonna make more of the same thing in a different color.
 
To get a Kershaw Junkyard Dog in 20cv or m390........ a light would shine from the heavens, angels singing..... life would be good! (Until they release the m4 version) lol
