While I was showing the famed Proof video to some friends a while back, we all came up with this theory as to why Lynn actually made the video to begin with.
Lynn seems like the type of snazzy dresser that would be real popular in high school... right.
With a name like Lynn, his height, his build... you can see why he would want to make a video showing just how much butt he can kick when well armed.
The scene: Lynn's 25 year reunion.
Jimmy: Hey runt! I remember kicking your butt all over school. Had any good swirlies lately?
Lynn: Hey Jimmy, I remember when you used to get wasted after winning the big football game. Yeah, you sure could smash those beer cans on your head like they were nothing. People used to say that your head was as hard as a brick... Well lets find out!
Jimmy: (sound of urine running down his pants leg) squeak!
Lynn pulls out his Trailmaster and, in one deft movement, shatters Jimmy's skull with the back of the blade, his brains spraying all over his trophy wife.
Lynn: As you can see, the Trail Master has no damage to the blade, even after smashing Jimmy's rock hard cranium. It possesses superior strength and resilience. (slow motion replay with flashing yellow caption "SMASHED JIMMY'S HEAD WITH BACK OF BLADE") This test has never been attempted by any of my competitors.

Do't get me wrong, I love cold Steel and respect Lynn Thompson, but the idea just came to me, so I felt the urge to share.
