Why might I not be allowed to post knives for sale?

I have a Gold Membership, but I get the You Don't Have Permission To Post Here yada yada page.

I sent off an e-mail to the "keepers of the light" re my predicament, but at times a response can take a while.

Do any of my fellow forumites have any clues what might be wrong?

According to your profile, you're a basic member.

If you bought your Gold Card within the last couple of days, just wait a day or two. Spark's running a two-man shop and sometimes things don't get processed as fast as one might like.

If it's been more than about four or five days, e-mail Spark and remind him to update your profile.
