Why more than one???

From my other thread I see that there are some people "Out there" just not much discussion going on. So here is a Question we can tackle.

Most of us, me included, own more than one Busse Knife. We all know they are indestructible, I'm sure I couldn't seriously damage mine even if I wanted to. So Why do you own more than One? I currently have one that I carry for one of my EDC's, one for dirtier tasks BA-E or MS and one as a Chopper or larger tasks BM-straight Handle.
The other Busse knives I own are either back-ups or something for the collection.

I know that theoretically I won't ever need another but of course that won't stop me.
What are your excuses... I mean reasons for buying another? Or justification to your wife for buying another? One for the truck, fishing boat, tool box etc....

At this point I'd say women are cheaper...

When I find something I like, I just have to have them all.

I don't really need to convince my wife that I need another knife, when I told her I wanted the ZT SH she told me to buy the whole set instead! I wasn't going to argue with that!

Eric, the easiest way to justify owning more than one Busse is to get different models, not necessarily different versions of the same model. That way, you can claim each knife for a specific purpose, and there won't be much "mission overlap".

"But honey, the Lean Mean Street can help dig out splinters easier and give cleaner cuts when trimming the rose bushes than a something like a Steel Heart..."

Avoid "Mission Overlap", um, I think I can build on this to justify a Pauls Hatchet.

DonL and I are headed down the same trail... I have 2 knives on order that will be used for different applications. Besides why would anybody stop at one???

Besides that I like Jerry, Jenifer, and Dave and I don't want them to go hungery, so I buy... and buy, to help keep eveyone fed.
