I seem to remember we once had a Cold Steel Forum? I quite like some of the range and as many like the Trailmasters, why is the Forum absent?

Cheers

There was a CS forum, but the individual from CS who was to be the Official Moderator was overwhelmed by the number of postings. He decided a CS forum was NOT for him I guess. Since then, nobody from CS has taken the challenge.

Coldsteel didn't have the time to invest on our site. They could not find anyone to moderate their forum.

As an attempt to extend the hand of brotherhood, I will make the offer to Lynn Thompson to moderate a CS forum here at BFC for a piddlin' 20,000 dollars a year and all the knives I can carry out of the factory every October 21st. (birthday bonus)
Whaddya say big guy?

Pity...

Being here and being in the firing line counts for more than a video in my humble opinion.

Customer feedback is a valuable commodity. Many companies pay through the nose for the kind of feed back we as Formites can provide. We are not normally the typical user or buyer, but wow we know what is good and what is not!

Have a good one

You would nor believe how right you are. Many Fortune 1000 companies pay very dearly for feedback that they too often ignore. The smart companies try not to ignore it and the really smart companies try not to pay for it.

It WAS nice while it lasted, but only to have the dude from Cold Steel decide that we weren't worth a minor time investment...

...If only he (Cold Steel) knew what great feedback and product input they lost by the decision to close-down their Forum.

BTW, I'd sure be one of the FIRST
"Forumites" to welcome them back here!.

Hey Big Dann

IMO, and in all seriousness, I think you could have been a fine moderator for the Cold Steel forum.....

Yes, he could, once things settled down, but I remember how it started ... there were a lot of forumites who really wanted answers from the company.

It wasn't all a lot of negative stuff, either. We have a few Cold Steel enthusiasts here. I own more CS knives than any other company's, myself.

Now that they are coming out with some really different designs, a forum would have been an ideal way to drum up support and enthusiasm for them.
