Why no Double Cut NMFBM?

Yeah, I was wishing for DC, or Satin as an option. But for beaters I prefer DC.

I'll taken satin anyday. You have to mask off a DC blade if maintaining on a pad, or strop. Unless you do not mind a marred DC finish. What a waste of tape!

I find that DC cleans up VERY fast, and nice!

For those of us newer to the beauty of the Busse , What is a double cut, or DC finish mean?? Are they the same? Sorry for the ignorance, but I am looking to learn.

It's a smooth bead blasted finish. It's a two step blast, coarse AO/sand to roughen the surface then glass or ceramic beads to smooth it out. The smooth bead blasted finish is a bit more common on other knives these days but it used to be rare in comparison to a rough blasted finish.
