Thanks for the welcome! It's good to be back....I just get so busy that I can get removed from the knife world for 6 months at a time. The holidays have given me the time to catch up and participate again. Also, the money's been good so I can replenish my knife collection.
I'm pretty dang sure I'll be getting a Tyrade to replace my deceased Blue Bump...in my mind its the spiritual successor to it...and I just happened to be in the market for damascus or some other exotic steel (hard to get more exotic than the Tyrade's blade).
In regards to the Bump as a full sized mojo, I have had both. I still have my mini mojo, but my "friend" scratched my old Blue Bump up badly so I sold it to escape the pain of seeing it like that.
The thing is, the mini mojo is, in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful production folders ever. Even more beautiful than the Blue Bump in many ways (blade shape, for instance). I've had my mini mojo for years and the AO gave out eventually, and then I really loved it. Smooth action, I really enjoy the stud lock and the handle shape is as good as it could possibly be given its small size. But I do prefer roughly 3 inch blade lengths in EDCs, so I find myself carrying mid-sized knives much more often than I carry the mini mojo. At any rate, despite my strong love for the Ti Bump line, I actually prefer the design of the Mojo overall. It's gorgeous.
I'm liking some of the current Kershaw lineup so much that I may be ordering two at a time...a RAM to EDC and a Tyrade for showing off. If there were maxi mojo, I suppose I'd have to get three.
