Never seen any although I'm new to knife searching. If not are there any compareable blades to moras that are folders?

Opinel is probably the analog of the folder world. It is low in price but not ability, comes in basic stainless and carbon, comes in different sizes, is a classic.

I have been looking for cheap scandi ground folders for EDC, but the picking is very slim. If Mora makes decent inexpensive scandi folders, I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

Sometimes it would be wiser for manufacturers to focus on what they are good at. Mora is good at mass producing very basic and inexpensive fixed blade knives. Keeping it very simple they are able to compete successfully with Chinese manufacturers - inspite huge labor cost difference. If Mora ever decides to go for folders - it will have only few options. Like contracting some Chinese manufacturers. Or making another EKA. Or doing something really expensive. And incurring significant cost entering absolutely new market... while loosing focus on their traditional one.
Anyway, do not see what would be there for Mora. Like 99% of their current consumer base would not even care for what is written on their cheap working knife... So what would make them to buy Mora folder?

I agree with you Poez. Mora is very popular because of their affordable and good quality fixed blades and they're good at making them. Just like Victorinox and Wenger are good at making high quality and affordable multipurpose knives.

For inexpensive and good quality folding knives, you should really look at Opinel. Another option are Victorinox their Solo knives. Unfortunately they don't make the one in 108 mm anymore, but they do have the alox Solo and Sentinel.

EKA Knivar makes very affordable folders too, but here in the Netherlands, they're a bit more expensive than the Mora's and Opinels. I've got two of them. Here's my Swede 60.

The other one is the Swede 88.

The stamping on the blade says "Stainless - Steel - Sweden - EKA - patented"

Blade is Sandvik 12C27 made by EKA and it absolutely flies through vegetables whether they be tough and fibrous or squishy & delicate. GREAT tomato slicer. When folded it is more compact than any comparable fixed blade in a sheath. The rubber grip is quite nice. I heard a rumor that you could fillet a fish with it, too ;) Available at pretty much any big chain store that has a sporting goods department.

Did EKA move to the Netherlands? They were in Sweden and I read someplace they were moving production to China but I haven't bought one recently to find out.
