The analog Timekeeper was neat but always struck me as probably more fragile than I would ever want to carry. But I cannot figure why the digital version was dropped??? Or for that matter if I like them so much I never bought one... That may be part of the problem. Either way I'd sure like to see that option come back. Did everyone do the same I thing I did and think they were neat and just neve buy one???

My guess is with the proliferation of cell phones, not many people thought they needed a clock on their knife. I mean a lot of people don't use a watch anymore. Myself I look at anything electronic on the knife as a maintenance issue/trouble just waiting to happen. So never had any interest in them.

O.B.

I like to wash the fish guts off my knife under running water. Was that scale mounted watch waterproof?

Also, Victorinox has a full range of watches, from their point of view, it's better to sell a knife AND a real watch :D

I did not know this was ever a thing.

Before I posted, why not add a blade to your watch?
I googled it and Shiv does just that.
SMH…I’ll leave it here.

Well, you just made me look for one... But ouch, even the digital version demands collectors prices for a lack of better words.

In my search "SAK with time keeper" I came across the opposite, a time keeper with a SAK. Sort of :-)

I have to say that it's probably because it's more of a novelty at this point. One of the knives I've always got with me is my Traveller Lite, and to be entirely candid with you, I've never actually used any of its sensors, and the clock is a pain to set up given the limitations of having to set everything up with a single button (under the shield).

I do love the Traveller, but if it didn't have that scale, I wouldn't be too broken up over it. Speaking of clocks though, I do still want to find one of the older SwissChamps with the analog clock in the scale for the collection one day.
