Why no sheath sub-forum in the Exchange?

Granted, many knives sold in the various sub-forums in the Exchange come with sheaths, but many people don't necessarily like those sheaths, and immediately start hunting for the perfect carry system. It seems a dedicated sub-forum for all the sheath makers out there to sell their wares is a pretty obvious thing to do...

As Paul said, people can post their specific wants in the "Wanted ..." forum.

Also, makers can post specific items in the G&G forum or general services in the Custom Shop forum in that section.

An argument could be made for a sheath specific forum of course. I'll move this over to Tech Support in any case as it's a feature request.
 
Paul hit the nail squarely on the head, that is in essence the subforum for sales and WTB. It allows craftspeople to display their items, wares, skills, materials, and customization, etc. It also allows members and makers to communicate as necessary. Out of everything in the Exchange, it is probably the best organized section for WTB, sales, and advertising.

EDIT: at first I didn't see what you were referring to, the link directed me to a "WTB" area, and there was a single thread in it... Now I know what you're talking about... Tricky little place to find, ha ha...

I must be dense, I think starter17 found something I did not. I don't see any posts in http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php/871-Wanted-Knifemaker-Craftsman-Related-Services and from the description of the subforum it is for people to request work to be done rather than a place to list work done.

I don't have the free time to even think about taking orders but I do make enough sheaths on the side that it would be worth it for me to buy a craftsman membership upgrade. I just don't see a place to list them. For instance, I have a couple extra ESEE Laser Strike sheaths made up. If I upgraded to the appropriate membership level where would the place be to list it?

One other note, you may not see the some forums as having anything other than a single thread because you do not have the correct membership to see the entire subforum. That is the purpose of the membership, it restricts the view and curbs "just anyone" logging in and selling under the table.
Tne sales sections are the same way. You cannot list any item for sale in the Exchange sales forums without having at least a Gold membership or better. Anyone can buy of course, but the (+ Post New Thread) button will not function.
