I have been looking at the force for a minute but can't seem to find many reviews on it. I have seen one or two. I think this would be a blade that would comparable or even supersede the legendary Ka Bar in actual use. It has a good utility blade shape similar length blade good thickness for strength and full tang while having corrosion resistant properties. If anyone has one and has actually used it I would love to hear from you.

no direct experience with them, but it looks like the same handle as the seal-team-elite, which I did have. Probably decent, since as far as I know the Taiwanese SOGs are still all right. All in all, it looks quite functional, if you prefer a grooved style grip. as far as corrosion resistance, aus-8 and 1095 are pretty even in my experience. AUS-8 doesn't patina, but it will rust quite easily if not looked after. at the end of the day, its a thick, heavy hollow-ground knife, and if thats what you want, then you could do worse.

I have not handled one but am also eye balling this knife. I know it is Chris's favorite fixed blade that they have and it looks awesome. Between the thickness of the blade, the strong point, the glass breaker, and the lightness of the knife, i would almost say that it is perfect. My only complaint is the sheath does not have a button but only velcro. I hope you get a sog force

Ive never handled a SOG, let alone one with grn handles...How exactly are they attached to the tang? The reason I ask is I am looking for something for spear fishing, so it will need to handle submersion in water and I want to make sure that my next knife for this doesn't (without me knowing) let water in to rust the tang (this happened on my last one with a kraton handle)... do you think the force might be a good option in terms of construction and materials? I love the look of it though so i hope it works

I hear nothing but great things about this knife. It is one thick slab of metal that can take a pounding. To me, this would be my ideal knife to take in the wilderness. The tip shows it's not a puncturing type knife and made more for bushcraft. I wish I can find these a bit cheaper on eBay but they all seem to go for around the $85-100 mark. Either way, I want to hear feedback from someone who has experience with her.

Cheers.
