Hi All,
I'm new here at Beckers Knives after buying my first Becker at a gunshow a few weeks ago. After looking at over 100 knives that day, I had to go back and get the one that was just calling to me which was a BK11 that I saw in the first 15 minutes of being there. I was looking for a new field deer knife and the BK11 looked and felt perfect for the job. The short handle was just right for me since I use my index finger close to the tip for control. My deer hunting was done for the year when I bought the knife so I didn't get to use it for the intended purpose yet but I know it will work just fine. I have just ordered a BK16 to complement the BK11 and in the near future I plan on getting a 5 & 15 soon after. But looking into the near future as my grandboys and grandgirls get closer to scouting and camping age I'm thinking that a BK11 handled knife with a 5/15 style blade would be great for that purpose, plus I think it would make a great small game/ general purpose knife that I wouldn't mind carrying.
