Why not flush fit the pins?

The only thing I do not like about the 110 & 112 are the pins that stick out of the scales. Man, I really do not like that.
Those pins are the only thing that keeps the fit & finish from being pretty much 100% perfect.

Any chance Buck might start flush fitting those pins?

Interesting thing is, the rocker rivet on the first 110's from the 60's were flush fit.
I think it is a personal preference thing. Unfortunately for folks that might like a flush fit, there are no plans in the near future to make any changes.

it was possable to order a 110 withy out the rivets showing but the site is down fo a while because ofthe move from cal keep watch for it to open! there are some exciteing things you can do from that site.. :eek:

I always wondered that myself. That's the one thing I like about the Schrade LB7 over the Buck. Gotta believe Schrade did that to be different from Buck. In my opinion, a very good move on their part. (at least while they we're still in business) It doesn't stop me from buying the classic 110 though. (along with a few sweet Customs) :D
