(Disclaimer: Complete respect to Jerry and crew but this question has been bugging me since so it begged to be asked)
Since I've been casual lurker of Busse knives for years, I've came to see that they will probably never make a Busse folder. I'm sure the reasons are good for not making one but that still didn't stop the silent demand for them regardless.
So, my question is this:
Why can't we just get 2 good size Busse knives and 1 knife of preferred blade design and make one ourselves? Just size out the INFI metals to cut out for handles, choose a knife with a preferred blade shape. Then use water jet (to preserve the heat treat), shape the handles and cut off the blade while shaping bottom of blade into a flipper style design. After sizing it up, computerizing it if need be to get it all right, etc then finally put it together! Voila! Busse folder!
Shouldn't be too hard to use the computerized water jet to pretty up the INFI handle into any style you want. At least the whole knife will be mostly (if not all) INFI in the end.

Yes, I'm aware that it will void warranty and cost a pretty penny for this project but to be frank, those things are besides the point. The outcome should be worth such wallet setback and loss of warranty. It's a Busse folder!
