The current Manbug MYLS would be a perfect candidate. Essentially, a micro Assist. Would prefer such an offering over the bulkier ResQMe. For larger blades, I could see how a glass breaker tip might cause some discomfort tip down, but there should be no such issue tip up.

Hi AdamLau.

Carbide glass breakers are quite complicated to make. To me, they must be retractable, special shape, special carbide and the proper geometry. I broke hundreds of windows developing the Assist. To me, a life might depend on its use and It must be fail-safe.

Understood. What of a protrusion built into the blade, similar to what we see on the Umnumzaan?

When I seenthe protrusion built into the blade of the umnumzaan I have to wonder. Is steel really sufficient to break windows reliably? On my Socom Elite it has ancarbide tipped glass breaker but the tip is very rounded. I wonder about that too.
