Doesn't anyone like the hoodlum, thug or Punk. The Hoodlum is too much for me but I like my Thug and Punk.

I want a hoodlum just to have a B_K, but not ready to commit $160 for a knife that will sit around right now.

I've often wondered that myself. I'm interested in the Punk. But never hear of see much about it.

I can tell you the Punk is a very good knife and while I didn't buy mine from them, the reviews on A***n for it are very good.

I love the Hoodlum!! Haven't really used a Thug or Punk yet, but I do have a few of those also.

Here are mine…most are the original Hoods/Woods;

I don't care for the OEM sheath, but got this Kydex and love it!

I have a 2014 Thug with the flat ground blade.
I like it a lot!

Tested it a little, and it works awesomely for chopping and cutting stuff :) (and shaving ;) )

Afterwards I cut some paper

But first before testing it out, I had a shave :)

OK, that is my "review" of the 2014 Thug :D
Cuts, Chops, Batons and Shaves..... I couldn't ask for more in a bushcraft knife :)

I had a TOPS Hoodlum. It was a very good design, extremely light and fast. I liked it a lot.
I gave it to a friend of mine.

Brother and I both have a Hoodlum, we think they are great knives. I have an early one with a box signed by Ron before he passed, bit bummed that I used it but I couldn't see into the future. We both had a 2nd kydex sheath made for them so we could carry them on another piece of gear if needed.

The other knives in the line are good but I really think the Hoodlum shines the strongest. Large, fast and light. Really a great design in my mind and I'm not a fan of blades that long normally.

As to why not a lot of talk, I would guess it's just not so popular with the average Buck user/collector (which I would consider myself).

My Thug is the hollow grind. It was new but never used and I got it at a good price or I would have waited for the flat grind. I wonder if there's that much difference between the two. Someone who has both so do a test/review.

The Punk is on my like to have list but first things first. Micarta, 5160 and FFG; it has to be a bad ar$$ knife!

I really like my punk but have not put it through a lot of use. I have only had it a few months and have not spent much time in the woods with it. I have carried it on some 10 plus mile hikes in steep terrain and was glad to have such a solid knife for such a low weight penalty. Hope to spend time experimenting with it this fall.
