I would like to see Buck put yellow or orange handles on a 119, 102, 103 or 105... How about a 120 or a 124... Now that would be cool... What do you think... Maybe I think to much....

Yellow or orange handles on these knives would be uncool, ITE, so not cool.
That would become another herd to collect and I am not on the rocks now
to buy more knives. :jerkit:

Best,
Haebbie
:D :D ;) :)

Absolutely.... I think if they did a Yellow handled sheath knife to go with the new yellow slipjoints, that would be great..
The colors really are great for out in the woods..

During the years that I collected Case knives, I amassed quite a few different patterns in yellow. I spent a lot of time researching to see if Case had ever done a sheath knife in yellow. It would IMHO be a great set.
Case never did do it, so if Buck did it, they would be one up on Case

Look at how long case has been selling yeller handled knives, to this day.
Yellow knives have a very strong and diverce following...
I have to think that the sales will do very good

I like the "yeller handles" and I would also be open to yellow and orange handles for an outdoors knife ("survival" colors as opposed to "traditional" colors). There are enough black knives on the market, and yellow makes a knife a lot easier to find if you set it down.

Much better than camo :D I had a camo Bantam folder clipped to my pocket. After a running shot on a coyote, we went up the very steep hill to retrieve him.
It was then I realized that the camo knife was gone... That crap actually works. It blended into the surroundings so well, I never did find it

For those of you interested in a yeller handled Buck, at least Buck did make a yeller model for a short period. I know of two of them anyway. At least you can get an idea of what they would look like.

Very nice. Thanks for the photo!

That looks way cool TC-what year, is that micarta?

As for the year, the answer is problematic. Joe can find no records of it. But it is not stamped as a custom shop knife. It has no date code so is pre-86. It has no pommel hole so is post-72. EEE has one also, and may be able to assist further on dating it.

Yes, it is Micarta.

Here is a better and more color true Pic of the same knife:

Yellow micarta would work for me... But, I like that yellow slipjoint color too... I would love to have all yellow handle sheath knives to go with all my black handle knives...
