of the small straight blades by HI? I have the little JKM-1 (don't have the Kumar Karda, yet) and it's a great knife. Very puukko-ish. Stout but takes a wicked edge, handy size, hand forged, zone hardened, very reasonably priced and Uncle Bill's the best guy to do business with. The worst thing I can say about it was the finish was a bit rough (new kami) and the sheath is only so-so but for the price I don't mind doing a little detail work (kinda enjoyed it). Puukkos are held in pretty high regard as utility blades and HI khukuris are top shelf, just surprised more people haven't given these a try:confused:

I have handled my first HI today as part of a passaround and from the looks of it, you will see me posting allot more about there knives in the near future. I think a majority of the posts in regards to these knives are kept in the HI forum, thats why you don't see allot of them in here.
