Why the ban message on front page?

Why is the first thing we see when we enter BladeForums, a comment about who's going to get kicked out next? It seems kind of draconian.

That's what you're looking at? It's the Plank Log for July, the list of people who have been kicked overboard, not who's next.

But I don't know why any of those threads down the middle of the page are there, how they get selected for that column. (We don't all enter Bladeforums on the same page. I start on my User CP.)

I don't see the plank log until I get an email telling me someone has been kicked overboard. I subscribed to the closed thread, I guess I am just curious as to what nut or spammer walked the plank.

Oh, I delete and add the current months on the date, first thing when I log in. You and Bastid have been busy taking out the trash.

Yea, that is a good place to start also, but it shows my first and last warning I received when I was a newbie. Even though it has long been expired.:grumpy: I had rather not see it except when I do have to go to the CP.
