Why the different pivots?

Just curious Sal and Spydercrew. Why did you go with the different pivot on the Para-Millie and the Dodo? I believe the Chinook2 has the same type of pivot pins used also. I personally think that your knives such as the Military, Gunting, Lil'Temperance, A.T.R, Impala, and the Salsa have a much cleaner look to them because they don't use those new pins. I'm not bitchin' or anything It's just an aesthetics gripe. So is it a manufacturing thing or a cost thing or something else?
