I grew up on a cattle ranch then spent about a decade as an Infantryman. Now I'm a civilian again and have my own small plot of land. I started out with a Delica and an Emerson CQC 7 back when they were made by benchmade. I got both of them for my birthday when I was 12. They were used and abused for various chores around the ranch. When I graduated OSUT I bought an Endura. It and the CQC7 endured all the punishment a young private could dump on them. As my pay grade went up I bought all kinds of knives. Chris Reeve, Strider, Emerson, you name it I bought them all, even other Spyderco models. 2 weeks ago I was at a local gun shop buying ammo and magazines when I saw a black blade partially serrated Endura. I picked it up since it was relatively cheap. It has not left my pocket since. I forget how wonderfully simple these knives are. Big enough to do anything I want small enough to easily carry and cheap enough that it doesnt break the bank if I lose or destroy it. I'm already looking for an Orange FFG model so I can see it if I drop it outside. This really is the perfect all around pocket knife. Classic design that has only gotten. Better through the refining process.
