Why the gap?

Why is it if I post a table I get a huge gap between the text and the table? Example at: http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/001023.html

And the answer is....

Everytime there is a line break, the software translates that into the &lt;BR&gt; tag. Typically with HTML tables, cells and rows are put on seperate lines, making several line breaks, that wind up screwing with the forum displays.

If you don't want this to happen, edit out all of the line breaks in your table so that it turns into one huge long run on line of HTML code... that will fix the problem. Remember, all it takes is one line break to cause this....
