Why the name change on the Lynchpin??

I was watching a BHQ or Knife center video today and the guy said, “This is the new WE/Civivi Vexer - formally known as the Lynchpin.....”. Why did the name change?? Just curious.

I’m guessing it has something to do with CRKTs Dead Bolt Lynchpin......
 
I guess the one I still have in the Lynchpin box is worth a bit more.... or maybe I need to trade it in for the correct model!!! :D

Sorry for the late start to the new year.

This was done, as True Talon mentioned, to avoid a conflict with an existing name.

The design, material, and quality remains unchanged. Just the name.
