Upon playing around with my Strider SMF taking it apart and cleaning it then putting her back together I realized what makes it so great. My favorite thing is the only reason to tighten the pivot at all is to keep it from falling out, just don't over tighten it. There is NO blade play with the pivot totally unscrewed. I thought that was really great.

Yep. After having my two for the last couple of months, I can say that they are very well made and engineered. At first I thought the handle looked awkward but it fits my hand in any position very well. The choil is a perfect design for me as well. I wouldnt mind having a more melted edge to the G-10 but other than that.... Oh and the pocket clip is particularly well thought out. Having one screw and a tab that fits into the frame is much better than 3 small screws that can become loose and strip easily.

There are people who can "melt" the lines and give it that factory CC look. It may actually be cheaper than buying one at Atlanta.

I'd love a CC style SnG with gunner grip and stonewash blade. I guess in about 30 years of use it might get there.
