Why upgrade from a CIVIVI to a WE

I have purchased about 10 CIVIVI knifes that I have really been impressed with, smooth, tight tolerances, great flip

What can I expect to increase the enjoyment or wow factor by stepping up to a WE besides just more expensive handle material and more titanium.

Thanks because these Civivi's have really turned me around on the overseas market.

Thanks

I have never heard anyone complain about a Civivi lock failing. If you want an affordable knife made a lot less affordable... well there ya go.

Now if you want a We pattern not duplicated in the Civivi line that might be a good reason.

To that list I'd add 1) premium blade steel, and 2) broadly, more design flourishes and machining steps/elements.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with any of the CIVIVI models on the utilitarian front. There is no “need” to upgrade.

Going up the price continuum to WE is a luxury upgrade that will get you more premium materials, even tighter tolerances in fit and finish, different aesthetics/designs, etc. as mentioned.

It’s the same kind of upgrade from a Toyota to a Lexus; Honda to an Infinity; Kershaw to Zero Tolerance, etc. Again: Better materials, better design/styling, better fit and finish.
